To begin, in this post, I want to share a bit about Loco Entertainment. How this professional DJ hire service began, why I started this blog, what sets us apart and how Loco Entertainment strives to make the process of hiring a DJ more convenient and less stressful.
How Loco Entertainment Began?
Loco Entertainment is a mobile DJ business owned and operated by Ben Tindall (myself). I started DJ'ing in 2013 working with established DJ Hire agencies, which quickly taught me what is required to DJ and what is expected of a DJ, this included reading the crowd, taking requests, the importance of organisation (before and during an event), and most importantly how to help the majority of the crowd have a great time. I then decided to start up my own mobile DJ business at the beginning of 2016 as I realised that some DJ agencies do not look after their DJs, in which can transfer to a poor attitude and performance from the DJ resulting in unsatisfied clients. In the past 7 years I have gained a lot of experience from working with large companies and venues for weddings, corporate events, parties, showcases, ect.
Why Did I Create This Blog?
I'm going to be honest with you, there's a gap is this industry...
I decided to put myself in the shoes of someone looking for a DJ for their wedding, birthday or event. After many hours of research I found little information on helping people find the right DJ for their event and also what people should be looking for from a mobile DJ hire company. I found that most blog posts were purely just a sales pitch rather than providing the reader with useful information. This why I decided to start this blog, to give valuable information that should already be available to anyone that is planning a wedding, party, event or any celebration.
You MUST Be Confident With Who You Hire.
We aim to give confidence to our clients, once they have booked with us and they have filled out the booking form and music planner form, they can be assured that everything is organised and ready for their event well in advance. I have seen many DJs start up their own mobile business, but can see straight away that they do not put in the time and effort to give the professional level entertainment required for important occasions. They cheap and minimal equipment, don't bring a stand for their mixing console and leaving it up to the venue to provide.
